Those who sow in tears Shall reap in joy

Did Noah say thank you surrounded by noise and odor and crashing thunderstorms?
Did Joseph say thank you when he was thrown into jail?
Did Moses say thank you with the Red Sea at his feet?
Did Esther say thank you as she was taken from her home?
Did Job say thank you when he lost all he had?
Did David say thank you when hid in a cave?
Did Daniel say thank you as he fell into the Lion’s den?
Did Shadrack, Meshack, or Abednego say thank you as they were carried to the furnace?
Did Jonah say thank you as a giant sea creature drew near?
Did Elisha say thank you when he ran for his life?
I have the advantage of knowing the outcome; they didn’t.
Like Noah, can I say thank you during the storms of life?
Like Joseph, can I say thank you when unjustly accused?
Like Moses, can I say thank you when there is nowhere to turn?
Like Esther, can I say thank you when things don’t turn out the way I thought?
Like Job, can I say thank you when You don’t seem to be who I thought You were?
Like David, can I say thank you when the path to my destiny becomes the test to determine my destiny?
Like Daniel, can I say thank you when doing what was right seems to make everything go wrong?
Like Rack, Shack, & Benny, can I say thank you when I don’t know the outcome?
Like Jonah, can I say thank you when the answer seems fearful?
Like Elisha, can I say thank you when you don’t seem to do what I thought you would do?
Help me Father to always have a thankful heart like these and so many others whose destinies could have been aborted had they abandoned their faith. Thank you for the many gifts you have given me, especially the love of my husband and children. For freedom in America. And mostly for your gift of salvation.

Daniel 3:16 Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego replied to the king, "O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. 17 If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to save us from it, and he will rescue us from your hand, O king. 18 But even if he does not, we want you to know, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up."
