Sweet Zoe Joy

Even after yesterday's post, I wasn't expecting an unexpected event quite so soon. But today, we have to say goodbye to our sweet Zoe Joy. Zoe, a beautful pearl pied Cockatiel, has been a little piece of heaven in our home since she unexpectedly arrived (or rather crashed) in to our home just over a year ago on Oct 5, 2004. Never having had a bird before, we knew nothing of her care, but she was patiently bore with us as we learned. Her sweet chirps and sing-sing voice has been a blessing to us. We loved getting to know her. Her personality and beauty was like a window into God's heart; a chance to see his tenderness and care and even humor in all of His creation. Goodbye Zoe. We loved you very much. "And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father's will." Matthew 10:29
