2006
In the (gasp!) 2 months or so since I have blogged we’ve experienced baby’s 1st Christmas, baby’s 1st cereal and baby’s 1st tooth. We’ve said goodbye to baby’s bassinet, baby’s swing and baby’s toothless grin. (Not to mention experiencing all things admist the adventures of Tweenager Girl, Science Guy Gav, Super O.) I’ve also said goodbye to sleeping a duration of more than 3 hours uninterrupted; hence the blog sabbatical. I love the beginning of a new year. I’m amazed every year when I look back at how many things happened that could not have been anticipated at the beginning of the previous year. Some good, some not so good; but always a testimony to a heavenly Father’s unswerving faithfulness, never-ending mercy & grace, and tenacious love. Our family scripture for the year: Psalm 65:11 “You crown the year with goodness, your paths drip with abundance.” (Or to add a little humor to your day – if you’ve resolved to loose weight in the new year, you could make the KJV of this verse your motto: You crown the year the goodness, Your paths drop fatness.”)
