Tell-tale twinge

It was one year ago today I held a stick of dynamite in my hand. Well, at least you would have thought that is what it was they way my hand shook and my knees went weak at the sight of that tiny blue “+”. “What?” “When?” “How?” One would imagine that by the 4th time around these questions would be quite obvious, but really, each time you find out you are carrying a child you are filled with such awe, shock, joy, & all around incredulousness that all normal reasoning goes out the window. So here I am, one year later, able to hold, cuddle and stare into the eyes of my tell-tale twinge. Simply miraculous.
